Control your panel
Everything you can do from the dashboard at pixlbit.dev/app, plus Bluetooth control when you're next to the panel.
Send a message
The dashboard opens on Send a message. Type your text, pick which panels get it under Send to, and press Send — it appears within ~10 seconds. A live preview under the field shows roughly what the panel will do.
Special characters work: the panel's font includes :) :( <3-style punctuation and a few symbols (star, smiley, heart, note, arrow). Type them straight into the box.
Speed, brightness & effect
Open the Speed, brightness, effect & mode section for:

Display modes

Presets
Set up a message the way you like it, then + Save current in the presets row names it. Tap a preset pill to load it back into the form; the × on a pill deletes it. Presets are per-account and also fire-able from the API.
Schedules
Under Activity & automation → Schedules, + New schedule queues a message for a time:
- Once — a specific date and time.
- Daily — every day at that time.
- Days of week — pick weekdays.
Times are 24-hour UTC. Pause a schedule to stop it firing without deleting it.
Sending to multiple panels
Under Send to, tap more than one panel, or All panels. Saved groups show up as pills there too — tap one to select its members. The Send button shows how many panels will get the message.
Sharing a panel
Open a panel's ⋮ menu → Share… and enter another Pixlbit username. They'll see the panel in their dashboard and can send messages to it, but can't reboot it, rename it, or re-share it. Revoke from the same menu any time.
Bluetooth control
When you're within ~10 m of the panel you can drive it directly — handy if the internet is down. Open pixlbit.dev/ble in Chrome or Edge (or the Bluefy app on iOS), enter the PIN, connect, and send. The BLE page can also change the panel's Wi-Fi and its PIN.
Reboot & firmware updates
The ⋮ menu on an owned panel has Reboot. Firmware updates are delivered over the air — when a new release is published the panel picks it up and reflashes itself on its next check-in; nothing to do. To flash a board yourself, see Flash it yourself.
